11 Field Hockey Student-Athletes Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - University of Delaware field hockey had 11 student-athletes named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, the organization announced Wednesday.

The National Academic Squad honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes that achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year.

For the Fightin' Blue Hens, Ella Cellini, Katie Clarke, Lily Cosner, Emma Miller, Kasey Rieger, Sarah Rigual, Charlotte Robertson, Brynn String, Linde van Leeuwen, Rachael Whitehead, and Tetje Williamson earned the nod.

The 11 named to this list, are the most UD has had since 12 Blue Hens earned the laurel in 2022.

In the inaugural season of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation sponsoring field hockey, Delaware defeated UC Davis in the conference championship to claim its 13th conference title in the past 15 years and 17th overall.
