DALLAS - University of Delaware student-athletes Jacob Replogle and James Sclater were selected to take part in the second year of Conference USA's Stars of Tomorrow Program, an exclusive initiative that blends collegiate athletics and career development to provide top students from CUSA member institutions with meaningful access to industry leaders and career opportunities in Huntsville, Ala., the league announced Thursday.
Â
Building on the success of its inaugural year, the Stars of Tomorrow program will once again cover travel and accommodation expenses for participating students from select member institutions. During the visit, students will take part in a full day of professional development, including direct engagement with employers across the Huntsville corporate community and exploration of career opportunities aligned with their academic and professional interests.
Â
"We're excited to build on the momentum of the Stars of Tomorrow program as we enter its second year," CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod said. "This initiative reflects Conference USA's continued commitment to investing in our students' futures by connecting their passion, talent and academic success with meaningful career opportunities."
Â
The program will take place in conjunction with the 2026 Air National Guard CUSA Basketball Championships at Propst Arena in Huntsville, offering students a unique opportunity to combine real-world career exposure with the excitement of a championship environment. Participants will gain firsthand insight into Huntsville's growing job market while experiencing the energy and visibility of one of Conference USA's premier events.
Â
Replogle, a senior on the men's swimming & diving team who competes in freestyle and butterfly events, is a mechanical engineering major from Schwenksville, Pa.
Â
Sclater is a junior from the men's tennis program who hails from Dorset, United Kingdom, and studies business analytics at UD. He is having a breakout campaign in his first season in CUSA, jetting out to a 14-7 total record part-way through the 2025-26 spring season.
