Women's Tennis' Gorman Earns CUSA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

DALLAS - University of Delaware women's tennis' Amelia Gorman picked up CUSA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week nod for the week of February 4, the conference announced Wednesday.

This is her 24th-career weekly laurel and first as a Fightin' Blue Hen.

Gorman started out home action going 4-0 total, including 2-0 in singles play. She played second singles, defeating opponents from Villanova and FDU. She defeated NEC Tournament MVP Yelena Kim from FDU 6-3, 6-2.

Gorman also played first doubles, winning both matches alongside Navya Vadlamudi.

The program will compete in its next match at Rutgers on Friday, February 6, at noon.
