Football's Wilson Named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week

DALLAS – University of Delaware football WR Sean Wilson has been named Conference USA's Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Coastal Carolina, the league announced Monday.
Wilson exploded in Delaware's 22-14 win over Coastal Carolina. The receiver tied his career high of nine catches and two touchdowns, while setting a new career best of 185 receiving yards. Wilson's first touchdown catch, which came on a trick-play flea flicker, was featured on NFL Sunday Countdown's 'You Got Mossed Segment' after the Alpharetta, Ga. native jumped over a pair of defenders while getting interfered with to corral the score. The performance marked his fourth-career 100+ yard performance, second 150+ yard outing, and third multi-touchdown game.
Wilson and the Fightin' Blue Hens return to action on Saturday for a 6 p.m. kickoff on the ACC Network against Virginia.
